Why do are you still all for the IX over the X (majority of us). Please only state confirmed facts, not ones pulled out of who knows where.

I think the X looks like garbage... Too Futuristic and too many designs. Let the car be what it is made for. Let it Evolve. Let it be an Evolution and Evolve into a faster version, not a luxurious car...

omg..... i agree completely my girlfriend sent me a link to the evo X pics and thats all i can do not to cry hahahaa but i dont like it at alll.... i love the IX and the VIII's for that matter.... but just to let you know your not the only one out there

 

the IX works without problems.

the IX has the discontinued 4g63

the IX looks like the other Evos...unlike the X's Acura TL/Lexus IS look.

The EVO X Appears to be much heavier or much less safe if they make everything aluminium to make up for the all of heavy add ons in terms of luxery...

Ehhhhhhhh, kids these days. Coming out with pointless topics. Lets talk about Evo IX vx X two years from now when we'll actually know a lot more about the car. And judging by the various bits of information I gathered from few sources I get a feeling that Evo X will not oly be the best looking Evo to date (no offense but Evo VII to IX look like every part was from another car, to put it mildly very ricy, I mean I love the performance of the current generation but from the aesthetic point of view interior and exterior wise the car is unappealing) but also the most dominant performance/handling wise.

And BTW my girlfriend loves Concept X :P

I like the way the EVO X looks, and honestly I think it will look even better in person. People just don't like change, but sometimes the things we love the most, must go.

 

i uno man i think it looks like a damn dodge.. i dont like it but yes it is still just a concept and things could change i tell ya.... the pics i saw it was an auto and the entire engine was covered u think the ppl that would buy this thing would b some1 interestied in cars/ engines and would want the thing covered up at all times.. i would get rid of that and slap a six speed in er...... not mitsu's though unless it was built!!! hahaha just my opinion though... lol cheers

You are asking the Evo 9 owners to confirm facts right?:

1) No one knows how this new engine will perform agaisnt the Evo 9 engine
2) The turbo on the Evo X is positioned between the block and the firewall and people don't like that
3) the 4G63 despite being old is perhaps the best performance proven 4 cylinder in the world. Trying to compite agaisnt a 4G63 is a tough tough job.
4) New Evo X block on the Evo X looks like it will be made of aluminium vs cast iron on the 4G63
5) Another downside of the Evo X vs the Evo 9 is that it will truly take at least a year or so so start seing some aftermarket products while on the Evo 9 the same performance products will be available for dirt cheap and above all, the Evo 9 performance products are a 15 year certified 4G63 sucess.

The rest of the stuff is the matter of personal taste. I am not 100 % convinced on the new style but the drivetrain seems to be promising, in fact it will be the most advance AWD system in a production car in the market.

the car in person is absolutely stunning. honestly one of the best looking cars i have ever seen. made my 8 MR look like a Kia!!!

 

to be honest with you i love how the evo X looks i think front is more agressive and really sexy and i love it much better than evo9 front
