I hear that both these cars are startin off at 45k-60k.

The X is what, 35k starting off? Speculation, naturally. But still.....

I would have thought that if anyone had a chance it would be the X, at least, over these 2 demons.

hmmm.....interesante

Umm according to nissan western Pa was supposed to get 3 the first year sounds pretty rare to me..

Z06 had a waiting list and so do many other cars. wouldnt supprise me.

I am not surprised at such a waiting list.
To me that doesn't prove anything. The X has a waiting list.
Here in Orlando, there is a large EVO fan base. I could tell you a number, but that can very well change when the X hits the dealerships.
People change minds.

I bought my first Evo VIII in Clearwater for $130 over invoice 3 weeks after they came to the states. I am not worried. If they are going be marked up, then I will wait and enjoy my Evo IX a little longer. I will not buy an Evo X with out at least test driving it. I need to make sure its worth the money or I keep the IX.

This is why I will wait at least a year or so before even considering purchasing a X. I want it for a DD too, but there probably will be a mad rush to get one when they first come out.

Nissian is saying if you flip this car in the 1st year you have no warranty.

I really wanted the new Evo X and thought about puting money down on it but decided not to. The am not sure how the reliable the new engine will be with mods. I have a hard time thinking that it will be as bulletproof as the 4G63. Another big issue for me was even if you can mod it what do you do about injectors...I have yet to find an aftermarket injector for direct injected cars. If anyone knows where to find those I would love to know.

With the competition it has coming. Hell no it won't sell out fast. I mean it's almost the end of 07 and there are still New Evo 9's available.

I'm 100% sure that they will not sold out, simply because the dealers going to mark up those cars to get them to stay longer and find somebody who is willing to pay more. If there no takers than they start to sell it for the regular price. But anyway they are going to be avaliable!!!

its all up to mitsu. they want to sell alot of the x, if they can keep the supply lines flowing ,within 3 months of release their will be plenty on the lot. nissan did a good job of filling the lots with 350z's, which had 100x the amont of people waiting for it.

Sorry all but there will be NO RS version of the evo X

Only the GSR (yes it will be called gsr) and the MR.

GSR is 5 speed manual and MR is auto manual.

It will be bad *** for sure.
