Will EVO X be sold out rather quickly?
I really wanted the new Evo X and thought about puting money down on it but decided not to. The am not sure how the reliable the new engine will be with mods. I have a hard time thinking that it will be as bulletproof as the 4G63. Another big issue for me was even if you can mod it what do you do about injectors...I have yet to find an aftermarket injector for direct injected cars. If anyone knows where to find those I would love to know.
yeah especially since friggin mazda has direct injection in their 2.3 turbo. i'd have thought mitsu would be on the forefront of turbo/engine tech. i guess they went with drivetrain/tranny tech instead.
before the evo x engine was known, i was SO hoping for a direct injected variable vane turbo engine from mitsu.
too bad. at least they got SST and S-AWC though

I work for Mitsubishi and talked a LOT with one of the designers of the US evo X and asked all the same questions. You will know too soon.
Most of the stuff you read in that brochure from Japan is correct, for them, and most for the US but not ALL of it. We don't get all the good stuff here.
Yeah I could be wrong but...

they probably will even though IMO i would never buy the first year of a redesigned model. Im glad i have the 9. And even though they may not be as desireable as the supras and such they'l def. hold a good value
