wow this was the most informative and new review i ever read about evoX.
looks good
but heavy and slow what was all the hype about 0-60 less that 4.5 seconds

if this is true i am happy with the current car i drive

 

Now all those dreamers about the X can finally come back to reality. I was one who knew the X would not be as good as the previous models. It handles better, but is heavier and slower. ???

 

It's slower and has less responsive steering. Wow.........That sucks.

 

I can't believe this thread isn't being overloaded w/ responses yet. I wanna hear from all the people that said "Don't buy an IX, just wait till the X comes out, it's gonna be the best Evo yet".

 

More refined.....but they lost what an Evo was.

 

Being in a Country thats never had the Evo at all, I'm excited.

Keep your XIII/IX ... for speed...

Wow, lame. The steering is one of the biggest things I love about my Evo. I don't like the way the X's look anyway, especially the profile. The wheels/wheel wells are WAY too small. Looks out of proportion.

 

Yup....lets see all the peeps that raved about the X saying it will be better than the IX. I still would like to see an IX and X on the track and see what really happens.....Cant wait for TOP GEAR to get at the X . Im not hating on the X it looks like fun...just not what I expected.

 

Hell, if I want luxury, I'm getting an M3, 335i or potentially the new 135i

 

Let us be fair, they said that it is faster through the corners than the 9. It is slower in a straight line, but the Evo's intention was not drag racing to begin with. The thing that bums me out is the loss of the "high-tension-wire responsiveness of the steering." That is what sold me on the Evo in the first place.

 

I'm a lil disapointed I might go the new sti route
