their own tests of mr and special edition evos show more then .4 second difference in 0-60 acceleration. So how can one test of a evo X pre production version be an indicator of what this car is really capable of....5 sec 0-60 could be a result of driving, weather or any other factor.

also note the car theyve tested was a 5 speed manual...the driver must have sucked..lol

13.8 sec quarter mile? *snort*
Sorry, but the car should be at least a touch faster. Every car in the world, be it a corvette, ferrari, or a honda civic, is getting quicker every generation. Hell, the Civic has doubled its power output in 10 years

I really hate that red color, would like to see them in different colors already up close. The rear also does nothing for me, bleh.

I figured this would happen. I told my dad this would happen and he said i didn't know what the hell i was talking about. It feels good to be right. This thing will not have the ability to pick up power like the 8 or 9 so easily. What other vehicle actually does. Other than a Cobra i really don't know any so anyone pls comment on another vehicle that can. That being said Keep your 8's and 9's.

Can't wait for SST version to be reviews.

A little disappointed in the performance though. Oh well, you can't have everything...I am hoping the SST will be faster...

Performance aside. Hell even exterior looks aside. That is definetly one of the ugliest interior I have ever seen. That steering wheel looks like mine threw it up.

i'm surprised by the low 1/4 mile time. It traps similar to the evo IX MR but it's a lot slower in time . We'll have to see what the SST model will deliver as well as more reviews

You guys do know in the article they said they tested the JAPANESE PROTOTYPES.. its still not the finished versions, wait till more magazines get a hold of the car then compare it.

Back in 04 i remember when i spotted a few magazines saying the STI was better while other magazines saying the EVO was. Personal oppinions? i think so. I am not buying an EVO X so i am not defending it like a fanboy i am just saying its still too early.

Oh and it just proves you people with the 9's did feel threaten by the 10 because you wouldn't be rubbing it in peoples faces if you really didnt care.

I hope the Hatchback STi is better than the X lol since evyeorne here hates the X anyways
