I think if mitsu brings the MR here it would open up the floodgates. I mean think about it. I know alot of evo owners right now would trade/sell their evo's in a heart beat to get the MR if they so choose.
Which in turn would allow lesser fortunate people to own the current evo at a lower price and every one would be happy.

Does anyone here think that maybe at the New York auto show Mitsu could slip a MR through the back door on us. I know usually the Detroit auto show determines what cars are on the market for the upcoming year but the evo was never on the yearly calander as the rest of the auto makers. Just something to think about.

Probably no need for it since it's probably coming anyways but a long list of sigs for to see wouldn't hurt
Word it like how tons of people are waiting for this car, how they can get 50% of potential STi buyers to the darkside with the MR blah blah blah
Once created it would get spread to all the forums and hopefully get 5000 - 10,000+ sigs then send it off to

You guys knock yourself out. I'm 99% certain it's on its way and no point in wasting Mitsu's time with something 95% of the potential signers aren't going to pony up the money for anyways.. I'll let Mitsu who's hopefully watching this and enjoying all the Evo praise it's getting. And the praise they are getting in the real world and in magazines do what they need to do without interrruption..

Did you see that the 05 STi is getting underbody aero panels and revised suspension and steering rack? I wonder if the 05 STi will be more like the Evo. Ahh. Come on Mitsu.. one up em..

speaking of lazy, theres 33 pages of info and i dont feel like reading it all , i know all aobut the MR and the differences between it and our evos , but can someone quickly tell me what the sitation with the MR is going to be in the states..... thank you

 

The basic lowdown is:

1) A bunch of magazines report a 2005 MR
2) Mitsu hasn't said crap about it

Take either with a grain of salt.

Wow can't wait to see the full battle, but the qualify lap times for the attack are awesome for the MR!

NSX-R 1:05.18
Spec C 1:05.30
MR RS 5spd 1:05.33
MR GSR 1:05.69
STi 1:07.66

That says somethign about that 6 speed setup! Even the RS with a 5speed only had .36 of second lead.. wow.. but both RSs going from 5 to 6 speed dropped almost a second!

Argh and now my collection will be two DVDs short.. I still can't find Fuji Fast anywhere locally..

 

It may be more than just the 6 speed vs. 5 speed though as the MR RS 5spd might not have the SAYC. Don't know for sure though...
