Good point Rax but didn't you post awhile back on page 22 a sort of translated version of a write-up of some sort on the improvements done to the MR? I had to read it like 10 times to understand it clearly but I did read that the roof was quote"rigidity improved in comparison to the VIII. Maybe as usual they might change the side-impact beams back to steel for the US version which I won't mind because they just can't leave a car the way it is. They love to change stuff. But other than that I will be first in line for my MR

 

want the reason mitsu didnt come out with the ACD and AYC because of something to do with emissions? i had read somewhere that the reason the cars here dont have it was to make room for all the emission BS here, but upon looking under my hood, i dont see any emissions stuff really.....anyone else hear about this?

 

I think it was AYC. In place of AYC we have some emissions related crud. As for ACD, I don't remember why we didn't get it...

But I'm sure cost was a huge factor, because they'd have to train the techs to service AYC/ACD as well (and to be honest.. some of them are as dumb as they come.. you might be safer getting it done at a race shop).

Hey guys I found out today i went Mitsub dealer and i ask i want buy Evo VIII then i ask them. i can get EVO MR? they say yes they coming in end May to June EVO MR come to US!!! I will save money then buy EVO MR!!! whooo!

Heh... I wouldn't hold my breath. I'd wait for a real announcement from Mitsu first guys.

Yes EVO MR come Out In JUNE... I saw RS alrendy out Sell in showcase room in Janurday 2004. Doug say MR is coming June..
