The Evo8 looking Evo9 with the fogs is a 'chop too. In fact, they're all chops. That 'chop was done with an Evo8 ad/promo anyway... until we hear from everything is a concept/chop.

Visually the've always done a superb job, I doubt they'll do anything less. But they do need to add options.. The leather and stereo are nice, but neither are what enthusiasts look for.. 6 Speed, Sequential Manual Transmission, Underbody Aero Package and Cruise Control woudl seal the deal. Like on a G35 to reduce lift and drag - $500 worth of aero designed plastic is such a profitable piece for Mitsu and a win for us!. I'm getting a bit tired of watching the Evo fund grow

Sequential Manual trans. Err you are talking at least another $10k right there. But cruise and aero package are prolly do-able for under $700

Toyota has one for $1k. If Mitsu can offer a worthwhile one for under $2.5k SOLD. There is not much more than some hydraulics and a computer to activate the clutch and activate which gear should be selected.

hmm lets see..

A Sequential tranny on a MR2 spyder is something totally different from a Sequential tranny on an EVO.

Lets compare a few things.

MR2

Engine Location=Mid/Rear
Drivetrain=RWD
Weight=2215 lbs
HP=138
TQ=125 ft-lbs

EVO

Engine Location=Front
Drivetrain=AWD
Weight=3263 lbs
HP=271HP
TQ=273 ft-lbs

You are gonna need some very high strength components for use on the EVO, same goes for the hydraulics.

Hey guys please. We don't need another war on what the evo should and shouldn't have. SMT is nice and all but was it ever used on an Evo since it's creation? NO. And it might not happen either.

We should all concentrate on getting the MR(without changes) this side of the globe first before worrying about SMT and all that other crap.

I personally think people in the usa would pay 37 - 38k for a full blown MR if they kept it "rare"

if they ever bring over a limited edition MR.......dealer markup would be a nightmare.

37-38K MSRP + 5K Markup

The dealers would have learnt from the markups or they can continue marking up the cars and see them sitting on their lots.

Bring em over, we'll simply buy them for the price that is appropriate, if some people want to give some salesman a nice boat or whatever fine, I'll just get a used MR 3 months later when mister money bags wants the next trendy thing. Price Shmice.. If they bring it, it will be bought..

Mister2zx3 that's what I'm saying, people on these forums ***** about price and that it'd be to much, but if they brought it. People would buy it.

Question white EVO MR or MR prototype?

What is the story with this car? Looks like a RS but badged as a MR. What is the thing across the top of the rear window?
