Evolution MR - Mitsubishi Racing [MERGED]
anybody read the edmund's article?
"Why Should You Care?
Given that the American-spec Evo has a mechanical all-wheel-drive system controlled by a viscous coupling and can't be equipped with stability control, we won't hold our breath on the MR version coming here. Still, with a key competitor, the Subaru WRX STi, offering an active center differential, it's within the realm of imagination that Mitsubishi could make some of this technology available to U.S. Evo buyers down the road."
major **** tease, i doubt mitsu-japan will ever bring ACD AYC to US. sigh

Not bashing on you, but think about it. How many Evo's and Lancers will you see with this badge on them in the near future? It will be the Mitsubishi answer to the "Type R" craze. We already have people going crazy trying to find FQ-300 badges.
So the lenses have had the chrome removed from them?? Cool.
Different Recaro's?? I like them both.
Interior is different, but not necessarily cheap (like the interior we have now isn't cheap??
).Possibly the UKDM and JDM Evo 8 tail lamps (minus the chrome). I like the amber reflectors that other countries have, but not enough to do a tail lamp swap. Sorry, "JDM only and UKDM only" stuff doesn't get me off like it does some people.
I sat in the MR at the auto show on Monday.
Please forgive if this has been discussed before, but 2 quick impressions i got:
1) seats were absolutely the most comfortable, supportive and adjustable i've ever sat in
2) i noticed on the dash 4-5 "conditions" indicators, such as snow, gravel, tarmac, etc . my guess is you could somehow specify such conditions, and car would auto-adjust to optimize for same.
again, not sure if this is old news, but simply wanted to share.
I own an STi. If this comes to US, I will seriously consider filling the other half of my garage.

I tried posting wht settings 4 and 5 were, but apparently, someone didn't like them. Isn't this the same thread where someone said that MR stood for "Mostly Rice" and got away with it? Hmm...I guess some joking is ok and some similar joking is ...not.....ok.
Great.
Great.
I saw your post too 90GSX, what happened to it?
Anyways here's some bigger pics from Lancer Evo Club Italy. They always have the good ones.
What's up with the background in these first 2 pics?
