The K&N type breather would not be fitted on a production car. That is way modded.

I don’t think that is even an Evo engine bay.

 

That engine bay is not from the Evo. It looks more like from a concept SUV/Mini van with the motor snugged in there.

 

that's what i was thinking. the slope of where the hood would go is way to steep for it to be an Evo.

 

Is it me, or are the taillights exactly the same as USDM versions, but with the chrome blacked out??

I saw a lot of people do this on their US WRX's (reading on i-club.com). Basically, you can put the assembly in the oven to warm the adhesive, separate the two halves, spray paint the chrome a flat black color, then RTV it all back together. I like the look, (on both EVO and WRX) but never tried it myself. It reduces a bit of Altezza feel.

 

Because thats not an Evolution engine.. put down the weed!

Off topic but since someone mentioned it. Mitsubishi is in trouble in US, they hired someone from hyundai(forgot his name) to bring back mitsubishi to profitablity in north america. Problem is they cheapened the brand even more by giving 0% 0payment for X amount fo time, and getting bad loans.

Thats a nice color, looks like gunmetal.

I hope North America gets some of those bits, especially the weight reduction bits. The charcoal is as stealth as you're gonna get in an Evo - neat.

 

I hear that it's well below 8:06:59.
