Evolution MR - Mitsubishi Racing [MERGED]
Can someone please do a quick photoshop and make the car white?
I would love to see it in white and if you guys have the time, perhaps photoshop it in the other colors already available so that we can know what to expect. That is, if Mitsu really decides to bring it over.

The steering wheel does seem to be gunmetal.
In fact, the whole interior and exterior of the car is gunmetal color.
While I love gunmetal color, this is over-doing it as the interior looks very drab and dull. It might be great for motorsports(to cut down on the glare) but on a street car, the interior is way too boring. Need some metal trimmings to lighten the place up a little.

I'm waiting on the new EVO.. or an end of the model year clearance.. depending on whether or not they will continue to bring the EVO over here or even offer and upgraded one.
It seems like the smart thing to do..
I own one now, but am getting that itch again..
One thing is for sure, if they come out with the MR, I am an OWNER.
This car is HOT!!
Contary to popular belief..
It looks like it has Power Windows and stuff..
I am not into the "strippo" car, but dig the "lightening" by adding aluminum..
It's possible to save weight and increase performance without removing "comfort" items, right?

With that reverse ring the shifter looks so damn tall compared to our 5 speed gearboxes...
I wonder if it's as accurate too? I remember seeing that Top Gear video and the girl was saying how it felt vague compared to the old gearbox.

does the reverse ring serve a purpose?
also.. i noticed in the interior pic that there are only 3 settings for the ACD and not 5 like someone mentioned before.. if that was a joke then don't mind me

damn mitsu, are you just watching these forums to catch people with mods and take away their warrenties....look at peoples comments on this EVO and lets get it stateside already, you need to get over here and smack the STI some more...
The reverse ring is for the 6 speed gearbox. To put it into reverse, you have to lift up on the ring to get it to slide into R, otherwise the farthest right it will go is to 6th gear.
Assuptions come in different shapes and sizes. Hence the premtive word assume. Finacially I have to wait till Jan or Feb of 2004 to get my beloved Evo I was just curious. If a 2004 will not be available do you still believe their will be any 2003 still to be gotten. I live in SW Florida and dingle berry sales mngr. at. Mitsu told me " there will not be any 04 Produced such as the platform will be changing these will become collectors"

If you live in the Wisconsin area, now is your chance to get an Evo at about the lowest cost you'll ever see.
