All I am saying is that I want the option to be there. For people who don't want it.......just don't check the box. And for the people who decide to get it.........check the box. As simple as that. This is their top of the line car, and I don't see why they should hold back on the goodies. Personally I like the new vortex generator and I would get it on my MR. Some of you think it is hideous. That's fine also. So don't check the box for it. But if I had a choice between the VG and SAYC I would definitely pick the SAYC.
Is there anyone out there that is familiar with the electronic diffs because there seem to be an issue about them breaking. What I want to know is how much miles can you get out of it before it "breaks" I know there are alot of other variables like driving style and what-not but give or take how long should one expect it to last?

I was just looking at the sales for the Evo since it's debut in the States and it seems that Mitsu has sold a total of 2656 Evos so far. Go Mitsu
. Now where the hell are you guys hiding. I haven't seen one in weeks.

Hey I dug this up on the www.mitsucars.com web page I'm sure its old news to this thread, but I figured I'd share it anyways! Go to the site map and to the news media page. I was unable to get the pic to save here but here's the text as posted.
The 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution MR edition, scheduled to go on sale this fall, will add an active center differential, six-speed manual transmission, more horsepower, a lightweight aluminum roof and BBS forged aluminum wheels.
I sell cars for mitsubishi too....am very tempted to trade my evo in!

At HB Mitsu., they have their RSes at $1900 over MSRP and added sealant and Lojack (@$1000) to them already. They are still there after 3 weeks. I have heard good things about them but their salesman ran my friend around last Thursday night, he will not be back. If they would sell it for MSRP without the add-on crap, he would have purchased it. He is off to buy elsewhere.
So for the MR I think you have a right to be worried. I would have thought that dealers would learn.
Anyone have a good experience in SOCAL with a preorder or early purchase of a 2003 Evo.

Hey BHENKEL,
If my dealership here in Southern Florida tries to screw me on the new MR . I might have to buy one from you . They said they would do it for MSRP for me but nothing in writing .
and you know what that means the man with the most funds wins lol

Anyone know which version of the MR is destined for the USA? On the UK website, there are 3 different versions, the FQ-300, FQ-320 and FQ-340. Here is a link to the specs page, http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/evo...sp?strCar1=QD4 . I hope we are going to get the FQ-340 as it has 345 HP.
