Evolution MR - Mitsubishi Racing [MERGED]
</Mr. Burns> Excellent! </end Mr. Burns>
Now the big question becomes: when will it be avaliable? e
Also, isn't the US STI a Spec C, except it is not stipped of A/C and other creature comforts? That seemed to be the consensus on the Subaru boards a while ago.

doh! misread that. the "Subaru WRX STi Spec C fighter" missed the fighter..
IS that the longest name for a vehicle ? "Subaru WRX STi Spec C" sures seems pretty long.. I'd hate trying to explain that to somone at the local tax office at registration time.. or even the insurance companies.. yes all 5 words..
And does this mean the Spec C is going to be here in a few months as well.
Hey Santa.. I'm being a real good boy.. I only want one thing.. just an MR.. Thanks...

Upon further brain activation and waking up with some coffee.. Confirmed by the CEO, Is that better than a press release? Hrmmm. on top of that startign at $31k, oh yeah.. it just keeps getting better, someone confirm it has cruise control and factory tinted windows so I can go throw money at a sales friend at the Mitsu dealer.. If only they offer a few OPTIONS as well.. some additional underbody aero panels, especially the rear, and a SMT.. ahhh..
:tingles:

Now AutoWeek is in the game
I'm 99.9 % sure the MR is coming

Is this confirmation enough?

Mitsu U.S. chief Finbarr O’Neill confirms the Subaru WRX STi Spec C-fighter will arrive on our shores by fall.

MR is coming to the U.S.-it's official
Well Autoweek today quoted the Head of Mitsubishi as stating that the MR is offically coming to the U.S this fall and will have the 6-speed tranny, lightweight aluminum to replace some external body panels (i.e. roof) as well as the diffy. The MSRP is quoted as being around $31k. Looks real sweet in dark gray!
I assume this will be a 2005 car since it is expected to arrive this fall.

Check out www.autoweek.com. They quote the Chief of Mitsui by name as relaying this news. Also shows a nice photo of the MR in gray.
