Here is a better interactive graph with defaults of the USDM Evo 5spd vs the upcoming 6spd MR.

As you can see the 6 speed has closer 3rd and 4th by a small amount and a much lcoser 5ht obviosuly for a slightly taller 6th.
Changing Tires and raising the redline to 8000 rpm easily gives a capability of 200+ mph, you just need the push.. 6 spd + 265/40-18 + 8000 redline = 200 mph

Ok can someone tell me why the sayc is not going to make it. Only educated responses please (no pun intended) I know it may have been covered already but I would really be upset if I don't have a logical explaination.
GPTourer, you mentioned the colors to be offered, and now I think I might be even more excited about the electric blue than the mica. If the electric blue is the same blue as was in the FQ-330 article in AutoWeek, and if it's the same blue that the USA Mitsubishi site says is blue, then it's gonna look awesome. I might have to go that route instead of the mica gray.
BTW, if anyone is interested, I have an MR out in my driveway right now. It's a '94 Saturn SL MR cause I put smoked lights, ACD indicator and a vortex generator on it.

Here's the "BBY" that has been on the USA Mitsubishi site since the Evo showed up on the Build Your Own option. Funny, it doesn't look like Blue By You, but it's sweet:
And here's the pictures I was talking about in AutoWeek:
BTW, does the side of that UK wing look painted?

I am sure that there are alot of people out there that are waiting to see what Mitsu would do with the MR and I am telling you that they could capture alot more sales (which they need right now) if the MR comes with SAYC. There are alot of companies out there that are jumping on the "super flea" (4 cyl ) bandwagon and Mitsu has the technology to stay ahead. All they have to do is bring it here

SAYC was left out because they needed space for water vapor emissions unit, or something like that. I know for sure it is emissions - they mentioned it when releasing the '03's.
