2011 Evo now confirmed
man I am ready to buy, where are the 11's!!
reason I am not jumping on a 10 right away is this:
Will cost almost the same to get a 2010 as a 2011
if indeed 2012 goes hybrid diesel the 2011 will hold its value being the "last" gas evo
Hope the GSR gets the leather/sunroof package.
Wish they would go ahead and at least let us know what we have to look forward to, subaru released info on theirs months ago.

whoa, there is really not going to be any 2011 evolution X or XI for that matter. I copied it from the link because they can always change the link and show the updated one if there is one. but so far, as per june 2010 it looks like there is not going to be a 2011 evolution for next year.

EDIT: nvm looked at the link. What other car has the 4B11 though? does the regular lancer? Isn't 4b11 TC/IC mean tubrocharger/intercooler?

Further evidence to support sblvro is that the VIN data shows an Evo in 2008, no Evo in 2009, then again in 2010, but nothing in 2011. Its already been said the SE is a late 2010. I think we might have a repeat of 2008, folks.
If you want a 2010 Evo, you better pick one up! It just might be the last Evo we ever get to see on these shores.
Holding on to my 2008 now for sure.

thats good if they quit bringing evos over then will help resale of all evos over here in america then kids wrecking them daily will bring the numbers lower and lower so looking good in that category

dreamerak - You saw the changes for 2011?? What was listed? That's the point of the thread...we're dying to know lol.
I'm feeling that we won't see a 2011 Evo based on the info in this thread. Mainly:
1 - I think that 2011 PDF that someone linked to speaks volumes. Evos are missing from the vehicle list just like they were in 09.
2 - The Evo 9 SE ushered out that generation. The 9 also only had one MY so for Mitsu to only do X's in 2008 and 2010 is not out of the question. That's 1 year more than the 9 had.
3 - We know for sure that Mitsu is already planning a 2012/13 Evo XI so stopping production of X's would give dealers time to sell off what they have before the new cars come in (basically the same tactic/reasoning why there was no 09 Evo).
4 - Nobody, including people with solid contacts at dealers, knows anything about a 2011 Evo yet. Prior to the 2010 coming out it was known well in advance what the MY changes were.
5 - Japan always gets their models before us and all they have over us so far is the RS model (Brembos and spoiler are optional...what?). I don't think Mitsu will bring that over here since they're more interested in the pimpified stuff (MR Touring and the SE) instead of taking things out.
However, on another forum someone said they saw some paperwork that said in 2011 the Evo's SSS package would be trimmed down to just S&S (Sight and Sound). And there was something about the spoiler....either the large Spoiler becomes standard, or no spoiler at all would be standard. That sounds interesting but there was no word on other changes so they may just be fiddling with accessories at this point while not really changing the car much (if they do do a 2011).

i kinda figured they'd do this, skip the 2011 year
as the SE's were listed as 2010 model years.
that leaves the 2012 year possibly the last before the complete redesign ?
thats why i went ahead and got the 2010, i wanted to enjoy it NOW.
you'll always be waiting for the latest and greatest if you don't.
