New sketch for the 2012 Evolution
and i am never gonna sell it. i cant believe **** about the evo "going green" so ****ed up.
im going to have just have a mini car collection lol evo n gtr
unless they some how magicly pull some crazy **** n make this "green" car fast which will never happen
That means it's a babe magnet for USGA Pros, right? Didn't Tiger score all the chicks he got, picking them up with the sweet lines of a BUICK?
I thought that was the bottom of the style celler. The sketches IMO look less Buick pukey, more Ford/Toyota-ey. Not that those are sexy, but they're not us butt ugly as a Buick

I wouldn't be so scared of new technology. Some of the fastest cars in the world are electric. If done right, we could have an even more tuner friendly car. Open mind
2 cents
I used to think having a dual clutch transmission in an evo was a bad idea when that news first broke. Now that's it been out for a couple of years the evo with a dual clutch trans is starting to make more sense in my opinion. Now that it seems more and more cars are going in that direction. Its entirely possible that the evo x mr's will become the most sought after in 10 years.
I agree with the direction injection and six gears idea but it might not be enough in a few years. So switching powerplants to easily pass the increasing mpg bar might be the better option in the long run.
If whatever comes out in the next few years is faster in a straight line and around a race track, quieter, higher quality, more mpgs, and is still cheaper than a S4 or 335ix, I'm all for it. But I lean towards the grand tourer side anyway from my 2006 mentality when I wanted pure performance car for 35K. Now I want more for my 35K.
How'd the RS pan out? 2 years thats it? Its about selling cars, the 6 people who wanted a stripped down evolution aren't enough to warrant mitsubishi spending any design money (unfortunately) on a new more track oriented steroidish evo. Sometimes cars need to be sold in a particular market. Its quite possible the EVO/STI market can't sustain itself competing strictly against themselves for 10 years straight here in the fickle US car market.
We are all not out there buying every single model year of the evo, so after we buy ours, the following year mits needs to attract another what 1,000 people that want an evo, the best way to do that is it sell to a bigger market. Some people will enter a particular market and some leave that market. Mits just need to ensure more are coming in than leaving.

Usually manufacturers have the same type of nose and back end throughout their car models like the Acura's shield look down to Mitsubishi shark nose. The sketch is basically a photoshop of the Galant concept with the current Lancer's side mirrors, back end and fogs.
off topic . I recently traded my evo 9( for an economical 35 mpg hatch) because the gas was and will be get out of hand. I was getting 17 mpg and was denting my wallet when it came to paying for gas. I am hoping that the new evo will be a hybrid . There are high horse power hybrids out there and i know that mitsubishi can create a great motor that will be on par or better than whats out there. I will be waiting for that evo . Can you imagine a 340hp hybrid on an evo that gets 35mph or more on regular gas. Kinda like the hyuindai 2.0 turbo that get 35 mpg on regular gas with 275hp. Who would not want a car like that ......
P.S the pictures looks a lot like a audi 4 door from those curves and the way the rear curves down.
can any one else see it

Mitsu or any company that wants to use the hybrid tecnology must have a lot of money and mitsu this last year closed with red numbers they are broked maybe they will discontinue the evolutions, but i hope they keep making evos....
