Or perhaps something that tickles the curiousity of people. It might not look special at first, but there's something about it you can't put your finger on, small details that boggles your mind, until someone steps on its throttle and rip your guts out.
How about that for a sleeper (Not taking the pictures into account)?
Everyone don't want neon colors and to flaunt it 24/7. It's also more attractive to thiefs and cops then.

This sketch looks like alot of cars put together, definitely a ford taurus, and something acura. I for sure hope they don't follow through with that design. Im okay with the powerplant, just not the bigger body/mass. If anything I think they should make the new powerplant an option

I hate to say it, but the Evo seems to have died after the 9 was released. I am beginning to appreciate the X for what it is, but all the new concepts just seem to move even more from the Evo's original roots.

All the Mitsubishi cars got bigger and larger over the years. They just don't make cars as small as they used to, just look at the old Eclipse/Talons compared to the new ones. Cars are gigantic now!

The M3 doesn't stick out anymore from a 3 series than an evo X does from a regular lancer. Obscure is not typically something I describe the evolution as. I'm not here to defend the M3 because I'm not on that cars nuts. Although I do like it.

Having said that you are right 30K is alot of money. If you made my buy a car in 12 months or so, I'd still probably end up buying an evolution x with my 30K to put towards its. (rather than putting that down on an M3 and financing the rest) I still love the evo I just wish it could take the next step as far as factory performance.

On topic - I'm gonna reserve judgement on exterior looks until standing next to the car in person.

But for once I'd like a chick to come up to my car and say its hot instead of all the guys, "is that an evo?" yes, yes it is...go away. lol. But thats not why we buy these cars is it.

as we all know, turbo Lancers are the mortal enemy of turbo Imprezas. They are Yankees and Red Sox, dogs and cats, fire and ice.

However, making the EVO a hybrid is about the stupidest ****ing thing I have ever heard in my life.

EVOs are about ridiculous, mind-bending performance. 400 horsepower out of a 15-year-old iron block 2.0 with a factory warranty. Powersliding while steering with your knee. Going into a corner at a million miles an hour and letting the computer sort it out in a heroic four-wheel drift. They're twitchy, loud, harsh, laggy and i respect them 4 what they are and can do

Whaaaaaaaaaat?

Time to go and trade in the Ralliart for an Evo X and hold on to it indefinitely...
Maybe im gonna skip the RA come spring and just spend the coin on an Evo... im all for saving gas and all but at the cost of the Evo? Eff that...

If Dodge and Ford can make v8s more fuel efficent... then there is no reason why they cant do it with the Evo. All it really needs is an OD 6th gear

It hurts when I hear a chick call my Evo X "Cute". Really really painful!

Yes buy an Evo instead, if you like the TC-SST and don't want to go the MR way, there are still SEs out there and selling roughly around 30k

I have to be more green, thats why mitsubishi is thinking about hybrids and diesels. Do you guys think about filling your evo`s when gas cost $5.00 per gallon...
