I agree with you... the RS would have been bad *** to have over here, and I'm sure they would have sold. I'd hope that

would be wise enough to know the demand of one versus the other and have the resources to know which one would be more profitable.

I'm sure they can do that, and charge for what the car would actually cost. People seem to forget how much the drivetrain in a Evo actually costs. Mitsubishi has to cut corners somewhere in order to keep costs down. Otherwise the Evo would be $60k.
