2012 Release Date
Someone help me out, i just dont get why they are doing that im just getting a pretty much base gsr and the sticker is $34,560 and they have a $2,500 mark up because its a hard car to get. What is about the lowest any of the dealers are taking for them now?
Was looking at a used 2009 Graphite Grey MR at the dealer, but decided to get new. We checked inventory for all of Canada there's no GG 2011 MR's available. and.... GG has been replaced with Titanium Grey in 2012 which they might as well called Titanium Silver!... Pretty disappointing. I guess I'll be getting a 2012 PB...
Est Ship dates on the computer were Nov, 18 2011 for the first shipment then Dec, 19 2011 for the 2nd batch... We're trying to get a PB from the Nov shipment. Delivery is probably a week after shipment.

I had planned on getting a 2012 Evo GSR, but the uncertainty about them even coming out, plus talk of a price increase, made me decide to get a 2011 GSR. There are bargains out there. I got mine about $1500 under list price. A dealership in Florida was charging 30-31K for new Evos in August. I wanted an Octane Blue and all they had was Wicked White, so I paid more for the color that I wanted.
I was at the dealer where I bought my other 2011 Evo GSR and they said they were not sure when the 2012's would come out if at all. They seemed to indicate that the warmer weather states will get them before those of us in the frozen north.

Was going to trade my RA for an Evo GSR but they sold the one they had, and saying there weren't anymore. Would love to hear from someone else in Canada looking around to see if there's any in stock.
Otherwise, I'm eager to hear about changes to the Evo in the 2012 models. Eco button, etc etc.
I do a decent Daily Drive. So that Eco button is nice given how **** the driving is in Montreal

Just got back from a dealership around me, and they said they have 2 2012's coming in by mid Dec/Jan. He said there wasn't much change between the '11 and '12, but I didn't ask much because I was too excited to see evos were coming in
Yeah the Outlander Sport came up for me...gonna miss that dark effect GG had. It's okay on X's but sexy on VIII's and IX's.
**Edit - looking at youtube videos, it looks like it really depends on the lighting. Overcast seems to yield a GG, but bright sunlight shows a lighter shade, which definitely looks lighter from what I can see.

Went to Mitsu's site and checked out both colors side by side, and MG is in fact a good deal lighter (on their car building site at least). I may reconsider the color if that's the case

Side note - the normal '12 Outlander comes in GG, soooo maybe a GG Evo is still plausible. Both the dealer and I thought Mitsu might be trying to keep the paint scheme the same across models, but not if the '12 Outland comes in GG and the '11 Sport comes in MG. Just some observations.
Long story short - no point in trying to play this guessing game, we might as well wait for the official announcement, which can't be too far out from now.
