May be nice to have the last of a good model. First model years always seem to have problems.

Talked to a far more reliable source, he said the '13s are coming in August. Good news!

 

I would love if they did the same with the X.. one last go, but alas, I doubt we will even see a special edition.

and the special edition ix's are the 07 models, just called 06 SE's as a workaround for some safety mandate the US had on 07+ cars

I talked to a dealer as well and they tried to convince me to buy the 2012 at 0% financing lol. I told them I'm not buying just looking for general customer info and they eventually admitted that summer time is when the "2013" X is coming out with 0 changes other than the year. Mitsu is going to milk it one more year

I would like to see an Evo X MR with optional 6 speed manual a small boost in power. That would make a nice SE or RS model!

Made that **** sexy as hell in the front. Maybe they will do a facelift for the 2013s, the last of the gas powered Evos.



Mine has a front mount intercooler and different headlights though.

Just placed an order for a 2012 X and was informed by my dealer that Mitsubishi is no longer producing 2012 X's and is starting on the 2013's. He explained to me that It's more than likely the car I will receive will be a 2013. I don't know how reliable this information is but I thought I'd pass it along. I have to wait 2 months to build and ship so delivery should be in July so I think it's possible it could be true. I know dealers lie but why would he lie to me after I bought the car.

 

If they come out with a Evo XI, like they did the IXs, I would def have to trade my 08 X in.

 

I think we will see an the X for the 2013 model year. The XI will likely come in 2014
