The 13's (in Canada) should be arriving late sept / oct.

I would think sept/oct. to be a realistic time frame for US as well. There's plenty of 2010,2011 and 2012 for sale where I live. Why would dealer order 2013 with all these left in stock.

That means the '11s & '12s are probably going for a great price.

Ive been sold out of 11's for almost 8 months here in Calgary. Different economy down there though I guess. But yes I agree that should be about right for us here time wise, we will just be out of 12's around that time.

This thread is discussing the fact that the 2013 EVO will still be the EVO X, mostly likely a carryover from 2012.

Huntington Beach Mitsubishi also confirmed to me that the 2013 EVO will be a carryover from prior year.

Yes, many of us knew for months there would be a MY13 to fill the void until the MY14 arrived. The real question is what was the cut off date for producing the 2012's? i.e. what date did the 2013's start on the production lines?

Maybe they'll skip a year and just release the new one in 2014

We aren't skipping a year, you could oder a 2013 in Calgary right now if you wanted to.

I've been trying to get a 2012 EvoX and multiple dealers have trouble finding what I want. One guy told me they just stopped factory orders for 2012s and I will be able to order again around July. I'm assuming it's for the 2013.

it is too bad that for the final year Mitsubishi couldn't do something special. A last hurrah for the Evo X. Maybe some special wheels, a power bump or interior upgrades. Kind of sad that for all intents and purposes, the 2013 Evo will be the same as the 2008.

I hope you do not think that Mitsubishi is going to continue the Evo as is. They have made it clear that come 2014, there will be a diesel hybrid.

I know they are going to make the new evo as hybrid in 2014, however I still eager to see mitsu gets a new evo coming out...there was a rumor said that hybrid evo still can make 0-60 in 5 secs (I think X takes almost 6 sec to achieve ), if mitsu REALLY can make it, why not?
