If you go to this website: http://media.mitsubishicars.com/chan...ehicles/photos
(taken from official Mitsu website) you can see the 2013 models. They look the same as 2012.
I spoke with a rep over the phone, and they confirmed that 2013 orders should begin June/July.
Production will probably start in October. I am just happy that there will be a 2013 version. Regardless whether it looks the same.

I don't know....something is up with that website or someone is just too stupid and lazy to update the photos. Those pictures of that gray Evo MR are old, actually to be exact, they are of a GG(a color not even offered in 2013) 2010 MR Touring. Those are press pics from some magazine that reviewed it when it came out.

I know it will be the same car, but Mitsu is lazy on info and it's dealers are usually the dumbest most uninformed out there, so it makes it hard to know what the 100% clear truth is.
It's important to me because I'd like to order a 2013 in a few months, but as of yet I don't think there's been a single person that has an order in or any evidence that we can all see.....or is there....if so, please show me.
I'm sure there will be a 2013 the same as a 2012 just want to know when we can start orders.

Just walking into the dealership makes me doubt my possible purchase. Subaru wins in that regard.

For real!!!
If my purchase was based on the dealers, I'd never own a Mitsu product. This car is being bought solely for the fact that the car alone is that good. The dual clutch tranny is my biggest draw. If the STI had a dual clutch tranny equal to the Evo I'd be there, no questions asked.
The subie dealers I've been too are very knowledgeable and the service was close to luxury treatment. I remember back in 2010 a subie salesman told me that there'd be a sedan STI in 2011. I was like yeah, right old man.....but sure as sh_t, there it was a year later. This was when there wasn't any info on it, but they'd gave the dealers a vague heads up. Plus, most salesman know statistics on the STI, though I have run into a few that were clueless but they admitted it upfront. Props...
Mitsu dealers?!...Puhleeeez.
Lucky for them the Evo is such a great car. The reviews and the Evo sell itself.

I had to order my Ralliart as there where no white Sportbacks available with touring option. I gave the dealer 1k for deposit and waited 3 long months. This was the dealership in San Rafael, Ca. 2 other dealers made excuses and lied about not being able to order cars until the ones on the lot are sold, I just laughed and walked away.

Wow, Mitsubishi sure is milking its cow for all its worth. Basically almost no changes from 2008 to 2013. If you look at the Mustang, there have been big changes in the same timespan. At least the X will still be available for one more year.

No need to change perfection. There is not much to change that wont end up costing more. I dont think Mitsu wants to do anything that will increase the cost cause then the Evo will be in the BMW bracket.

sounds like Mitsubishi LOL

and the dealers are the WORST!
Concord Mitsubishi is trash, I bought my RalliArt there..
I never ever go there for anything..

and I actually just bought my SE from a Mercedes Benz dealership..
some baller traded it in for a CL 63, sad day lol.

I think it would be safe to assume since its been 5 years of having the X out that 2013 would be the last year.. I'm still wondering if there's gonna be a XI..

I suspect the economy had a lot to do with Mitsubishi holding back on a newer Lancer/Evo. It seems they decided to focus instead on a few special models MR-T and SE and making slight revisions to their line.

That and this silly "green" notion.

Hmm. The X is perfection? I own a 2011 GSR and I would hardly call it perfection. Great, but not perfect. It would have been kind of neat for a final hurrah for the last year of production. Maybe some styling or suspension upgrades. But alas, wishful thinking on my part.
