These combined quotes are the more likely scenario in my opinion. The down fall, those who want it won't be able to afford it, and those that can will spend their money on something better....

 

I agree that if this is in the $60k range, then most will just buy a used GTR..

But we still don't know what price the it will be for sure.. It could be high 40's and then with the government discounts come down to around $40k..

Of course no one knows for sure, yet. I'm just excited to see what they come out with.. Even if I am not able to buy it. I'm pretty sure Mitsubishi knows that they could easily price themselves out of the market and will make sure and stay in a cheaper price range..

If it is over $50k I will just buy an old Evo..

If this is true, this will be super interesting....

Ferrari owners already despise the GTR's. Bring in the ranks of a EVO for almost 15% cost of the Ferrari into the picture and see how many Italian swear words we can learn.

 

This is gonna be amazing. I'd go to the dealer just to test drive one.. Wonder what itll look like

 

And the other downside is our current EVO's will go way up in resale.
Never a good thing, except for non enthusiast collectors.

 

It will be nice to have the same or better launching technology that the GTR has!
