ECU Upgrade

This is a simple poll question. What's the best bang for buck engine management system. I know that it's a personal thing. I'm not looking for that. Based on past numbers, what system gets the best hp per dollar figure. See my mods in my signature.

Your question is a bit vague given the all the different levels of mods people on this board have.

For a lightly modded car (say through cams) a flash will probably give you the best return for your money - as long as you're not planning of changing things up all the time.

If you're planning to do alot of testing and re-tuning then the other options start to make more sense. If you're going for all out power and want to get every last possible pony from you set-up then the AEM is pretty much it; it's the best supported standalone in the US Evo community - although it does have risks - a standalone can eat your engine if not set-up right.

Hey, I appreicate the input....I'm new to this stuff about ECU upgrades and things. I know about the basic bolt-ons, but this is a whole new ball game for me. I think I'm going to go with a Re-Flash until I get a bigger turbo, then get the AEM EMS. I just hope I get the best re-flash that I can get. Thanks.
