Clear the confusion??

Ok heres a general question about an EMS system. I talked to AMS the other day and told them what i plan to do. stroker, 76R, heads and cams, injectors. Now as for tunning he said go with the AEM EMS. I trust AMS, but what scares me is the fact that i live no where near them (upstate NY) nor ne other good shops, probably closest would be buschur or turbotrix.

Heres my question: lets say i got the car done in mid march and say everything is running fine till the weather begins to change (more humidity, higher temps etc.) would i need to get the car re-tuned?? I dont know much about EMS systems soo please give me some good advice . Im hesitant on doing an EMS because i know very little about tunning a car, i can play with an afc, but i know EMS systems are much more complicated....If i had to get it re-tuned and couldnt make back out to chicago then they told me to go to Buschur and they could send me some adjustments (i dont know what this means but ok) and buschur could easily handle it.

IDK....help me out here- whats the reality of an EMS system as far as its sensitivity to weather changes and months of getting on a car?

If the car is tuned right changes in weather will not make a drastic change in the tune.

there are trims/calibrations in the EMS to compensate for atmospheric variables. so the tune should not need adjustment if properly calibrated,(as eric stated ) but even if you were to have a "perfect" tune you would still notice a slight performance change due to the variation in overall air density
