Cammed EVO with stock exhaust

I currently have a cammed EVO with 3" catless turbo back.

I am going to be driving the car to Las Vegas next month and to keep the car quite I plan on reinstalling the stock exhaust from the trubo back.

I imagine I could go back to the stock tune for this as it would be nice and rich (read: safe) but I would like to have the extra umph going through the mountains.

My corking the exhaust again, what variables of my tune will most likely be affected? I know boost change but I will set that to 20PSI. What about fuel and timing?

Well that would mean you would run rich if the car cannot spool and hit max airflow.

Hmm....I see where you are going with this. So the tune I currently will actually run richer without the free flow.

why not just run a silencer for a little while? Much easier on and off.

That is true.. my megan CBE has a silencer.

Yes, you'll see a slower spool, slower response.. maybe even some knock since the timing will be hurt if it's so rich still.

Either way there will be a cork in the exhaust....the tune changes would be similar.

I would rather have the stock exhaust on there just to keep a low profile. It only takes 40 minutes to swap.

Keep the exhaust on, that will effect your tune dramatically.

I'm going to put the stock exhaust on and run the stock maps for the trip. It will still be fast as hell.
