yep, it's a long read but pretty informative if I do say so myself
Much more to come, built tranny install, finish HTA86 pump gas tune, start on c16 tune, mount slicks and hit the track

Daniel Buschur called and said the tranny is ready, new 1st, 2nd and input shaft + new bearings, syncros and their trick stage 1 Bushwacker improvements. It should be here next week.

I have it on my to do list to shoot some video of the boost gauge vs RPM in a WOT pull from low RPM to the limiter to show people how the HTA86 spools

Buschur rebuilt the tranny, D&B Automotive (one of the vendors on my forum www.racevideoforums.com) installed it and I just took a pic with the new wheels

spent a little time with the car today and applied some fixes I've been meaning to try for a long time.
1) adjusting the knock sensor sensitivity at 3500 where I get a ridiculous amount of false knock ever since I installed the header. Up until now I've learned to start my pulls after that spot or as a crutch ramp up the low octane timing map in that section to counter it which left it feeling a bit funky. check out the before and after.
2) I logged 2byterpm to see if I could get past the 8000rpm logging limit in evoscan...worked like a champ...tested just past 9000rpm.
3) I logged 2byte airflow, someone else suspected that you can't read data well beyond 3000hz so I wanted to see if that was true. I don't use airflow for tuning but it is interesting none the less.
4) tweaked the AFR on the new HTA86 setup, it's showing 600awhp consistently with only a few counts of knock which is good for this unseasonably warm day.
5) I weighed the new wheel/tire combo vs the stock setup which is bald btw. The new setup was right at 5lbs heavier per wheel, not bad considering I went from 17 to 18" wheels/tires. The stock wheel/slicks will be the lightest set I have by far...those tires don't weigh anything.
