Mellon you should try JB weld on the IC.

Whats the status on the clutch rebuild? Can you disclose any info on the mileage or number of launches the clutch held up to before needing a refresh?

minor update:

tilton is shipping the clutch back, it cost me about 2,200 to get it back to spec, not cheap but still half of what they go for new. I thought rebuilds on these were supposed to be cheap, like 500 bucks, boy was I wrong.

I decided to order a new Buschur FMIC and I'll keep the old one as a spare IF it can be repaired (doubt it)

yeah I just about fell out of my chair lol. I had to buy 350.00 worth of plates that go between the discs. I was supposed to have them but couldn't find the extras that come with the clutch

My first victim will be a certain turbo mustang that I've whipped before when I had 500awhp and he was running low 9's at 145. Now he runs 8's at 160+ and needs to be educated again hehe. I also can't wait to hit the track again and see about a single digit pass!

double pumper regulator bypass done
tilton clutch done

went out and did a DLL pull, 535awhp...down quite a bit from the previous 600-633awhp when it was cold outside. I usually see up to 20hp difference with wild temp changes, not 100awhp...wtf. So I'm on a quest to figure out what's up. The compression is good, I'm hitting the same boost/load/afr/timing...strange. I ran it by David Buschur and Mike at AWD and both are suspicious of the turbo with that much of a power loss.

The shaft play doesn't seem significant to me but I'm no turbo building expert. I may pull the turbo soon and see how the wheels look. I've been eying that PTE 6765 anyway but don't want to swap out turbos yet unless that's my problem and I can kill two birds with one stone.
