I installed the new high impedance FIC 2150's and man do they idle/cruise better than the old low impedance FIC 1650's I've been using. I'm in love with my car again, no more sputtering at part throttle.
I also did some testing on the new Buschur ~10:1 motor with 93 octane
25psi 549awhp and 417tq
30psi 591awhp and 464tq IDC was 48% (FIC 2150, twin walbro, Fuel Rail)
The spool is the same best I can tell but the car doesn't feel quite as lazy around town at low RPM. I did a 2nd gear pull and started by brake boosting, it absolutely boiled the tires off through 2nd gear. One of my friends rode with me and thanked me for the heart attack afterward lol.
BR HTA86 @ 30psi on 93 octane
Buschur 2.0L ~10:1 CR
Buschur Stage 3 head
Buschur BF272 cams
Buschur twin walbro fuel pumps
Buschur 3" tbe, test pipe, bullet muffler
Buschur 3" intake pipe + Mas adapter
Buschur UICP and LICP
Buschur Mini Battery
Buschur Race FMIC
Buschur COP
Buschur Fuel Rail
ARP head studs
PPI ported stock intake manifold
PPI 65MM throttle body
FIC 2150cc injectors
Tilton Twin Disc Carbon clutch
Buschur, Bushwacker Transmission upgrade

interesting, I've noticed before that when logging 2byterpm you'll sometimes have a bogus rpm entry, sure enough VD picked up a bogus 8900rpm spike and fall back to reality and interpreted that a loss of power. I deleted that single line and now it's showing the curve more accurately.

well crap, the tilton clutch is acting up, the pedal is acting like it's going down too far and hanging even though I have a pedal stop to prevent that. I'm going to get with tilton and my transmission guy to see if we can figure it out.
Hey Mellon did you get my notice that 1.0.7 of VD is ready for you to test and make sure its stable? Just making sure since I never heard back from ya. Hope you were so stinking busy tuning that you couldnt get to it. That means business is good.
Anyway just keeping you updated and posted and as always ... letting you tailor it basically to your needs

fixed the tob and it started slipping, then the teeth sheered off of the clutch hub, the output shaft from the tranny looks fine. Shipping the clutch to Tilton for repair
