I think 700awhp multiple times a day (it's my daily driver) was just asking too much, Buschur made some improvements to the piston/wrist pin to make it more durable for guys like me that do much more than the occasional track day.

I see, I was thinking more along the lines of a tuning issue :-) J/K

Good luck getting her back together.

gave my guy the green light to ship my stuff to buschur to rebuild it. He's going to go through the shorty and head to make sure it's in tip top shape.

I think I'm going to try higher compression this time, I think the e85 will be fine with that and it'll be interesting to see how 93 octane likes it.

So Mellon, what cams are you planning on switching to? I remember reading that you plan on swapping out your cams.

the BF272 made great power but I'm not happy with the dismal vacuum at idle, the car will occasionally stall with the ac on regardless of anything I adjust in the ecu short of making it idle at 1500+rpm. The car is plenty fast, I want to get the driveabilty closer to stock this go around. I'm also going to go from the old style FIC 1650cc to the new style 2150cc so it's not so rough at idle/cruise
