The stock 05 evo build has begun
Thinking about Kelford 280...dunno
the BF272 made great power but I'm not happy with the dismal vacuum at idle, the car will occasionally stall with the ac on regardless of anything I adjust in the ecu short of making it idle at 1500+rpm. The car is plenty fast, I want to get the driveabilty closer to stock this go around. I'm also going to go from the old style FIC 1650cc to the new style 2150cc so it's not so rough at idle/cruise

haha i have 280 comp cams in mine and my car does that exact same thing.. it is super annoying so i have just been going without ac.. my vac is unusually around 10.5-14

finally an update, my engine was crated and is on it's way to buschur racing, David is going to go through the engine/head and freshen it. also we're going from 9:1 to 10:1 compression
I'm still planning on going with the FIC 2150cc and D2 Coilovers...I may go ahead and swap cams while they are out too.

yeah it's one hell of a read, I'll be sharing more once I get the engine back...I heard it made it to Buschur but was refused because it wasn't on a lift gate, just a standard truck *smacks forehead* so hopefully they'll try again with the right truck.

shoot, I talked to Nick about an order at BR today and totally forgot to ask for an update on the engine that's up there. I'll post more info as I get it
