The car is plenty fast, I want to get the driveabilty closer to stock this go around. I'm also going to go from the old style FIC 1650cc to the new style 2150cc so it's not so rough at idle/cruise
U think with The 280 kelford ull get the Idle Cure? :O
Chris wht abt the ID 2000's ?

the BR BF272 are the only ones I have trouble idling with.

the ID2000 likely aren't any better than the new FIC 2150 and the FIC are less expensive.

my vac at idle is measured in psi which you can pretty much multiply x2 to get inches of mercury.

at 1000-1500rpm idle the vacuum is about 5psi

finally an update, my engine was crated and is on it's way to buschur racing, David is going to go through the engine/head and freshen it. also we're going from 9:1 to 10:1 compression

I'm still planning on going with the FIC 2150cc and D2 Coilovers...I may go ahead and swap cams while they are out too.

Good to hear chris. I think you should have no problem hitting mids 9's once you get the suspension and tire setup right.

This entire week I have been sneeking into this post and reading it. Finally finished all 969 posts (whew!). Good information, it's not often people share this freely.

yeah it's one hell of a read, I'll be sharing more once I get the engine back...I heard it made it to Buschur but was refused because it wasn't on a lift gate, just a standard truck *smacks forehead* so hopefully they'll try again with the right truck.
