The stock 05 evo build has begun
Ah, here's where you've been hiding the last couple years.
Can't say that I blame you. The results of the EVO have been fantastic!
Did I read in here that your suspension is mostly stock except lowering springs?

just some no name lowering springs that were on it when I bought it. The are black with no visible marking to my knowledgethanks clutch
I picked up an evo identical to yours a couple months ago (also completely stock).
Your documentation has been a great read. I will probably document my build step by step as well. ECUflash & cable have been ordered along with an EVO X map sensor and 3-port BCS (yeah, I'm gonna try it the hard way). I'm tentatively going to run an FPRed instead of the green as I haven't been happy with the results people have been getting with it. We'll see...
Your thread was my first read on the Data Log Lab program, and I'll probably use that to measure progress as well.
You've also had great results w/o achy which was something I thought I'd NEED in order to make power. E85 just isn't widely available out here and no way can i afford C16 for a DD on a regular basis. Can you tell I'm used to tuning with piggybacks?

Thank you for your straight up (no BS) reviews and progress. Good luck with your conquest for 9s as well!

no doubt, I like to keep it simple and not use meth/alky/water...glad to see you're getting some use out of my ramblings in here
once you get into ecuflash/evoscan you'll find that it's really easy. We had it rough with the piggy backs on the 3/S platform not knowing what our fuel/timing maps looked like.
