I ordered the Forge BOV today and it should be here at the end of this week or beginning of next.

I spoke with Amber at Forced Performance, I'm still # 4 on the list - "as soon as he can get it ported he'll start assembly .. end of this week or the first of next week and install kit is being changed to the race pipe for the BR FMIC".

same thing I was told two weeks ago!

There is a huge demand for these things Chris. I liked the numbers you posted for the new core. Very nice. I think I'm gonna be ballsy and give the e-bay IC a try. for the price its worth a shot and pretty much an bar and plate will be an upgrade over stock unless the flow absolutely sucks.

Anyway, when are you going to come and auto-x down in Birmingham with us? I'd love to check out the car and talk tuning with you.

I did a little more tweaking last night and brought the fuel up from ~ 11.2 to 11.4ish and it's showing 339awhp now max with numerous mid 330's I think I'm going to stop at ~ 11.5:1 for 93 octane. I might experiment with some leaner AFR if it's still showing improvements though.

it's hard enough to get me out to Memphis Motorsports Park... just ask the locals. My tires are looking pretty ratty but I promised them I'd come out once I get the 20G setup installed to finish off the tires. I can't wait

He will never come down there.

As he is still the slowest evo at our local autox.

the new ported and coated stock manifold has arrived, I hope to put it in this weekend since the turbo is going to be forever to arrive.

How much did it cost to have your mani done? I was going to look into it. Does it have more flow then an aftermarket one say like a megan? Looks great

I know that DB tested a ported stocker against many tubular options. It was general consensus that the ported stocker was the best choice for performance per dollar and the full race mani was the only one that completely out performed the ported stocker.

I have the Megan so I obviously didn't care about DB's test. I believe in the benefits of an equal length tubular manifold, even if it is a lower quality Chinese brand. Plus, I like the looks of the Megan over the coated stocker. I also had my Megan mani coated for temp control.

I know you were asking Chris ... sorry.

I went with the ported stocker for a few reasons, good bang for the buck and it won't crack.

They go for about 200.00 at Buschur Racing

I do like the looks of a tubular mani much better though.

What did stock mani weigh since you weighed ported/coated one and where is the Green? Good write up so far, I hear many bashing intercoolers at this level but you have had good results so far.

At least you can put a heat shield back on. A nice polished one would look nice

I like my Megan manifold and it turned like a rainbow color right after I got it so it looks pretty hot. You can see the color through my hood vent. My friend has the same one but the color doesnt look as nice. His turned like a silver color.

Mine is just a matte titanium color with the coating, but it still glows at WOT which I think is cool.

I'll weigh the stocker when I pull it, I didn't think to do it when I installed the SS O2 housing a while back. I don't expect it to weight much more than the new ported one.

still no green, it's taking forever.
