not much new, the exedy twin disc clutch arrived but it might be a bit until I get it installed
forge is sending me various pieces to test with the evo to see if we can come up with a better bov for our cars.
I installed a turbo intake pipe, uicp and mini battery from buschur, no real performance gains measured, but no more pipes coming loose under boost and I like the weight savings from the battery.
I still plan on doing a meth kit, likely the aquamist HSF-5
PPI quit responding to my PM's to them about getting a ported intake and 65mm tb, not sure what happened there, but that's fine, I need to chill on spending money after buying that clutch, uicp, intake pipe and mini battery lol.

absolutely, but I like to experiment with my own car, I certainly wouldn't tune a customer there unless they were running race gas
I've since moved it down to ~ 11.7:1 I'm constantly trying out different AFR/boost/timing to find out what works best with each mod change.

during the tuning process, I make the adjustments for you and tell you where I made it, how much and why I made it and I don't use the stock boost controller so you don't have to modify the "pill" pick up an inexpensive MBC instead.

Mellon Tuning EVO at the MMP SCCA AutoX 10-21-07
had a good time out there... big thanks to dsmythe2 for letting me borrow his street tires. I started out with a bad combination of tire pressure and simply going way too fast. I lost control a few times on video
once I reduced the tire pressure from 40/40 to 35/30 and slowed down I quit getting DNF's and the times got better. My best time was 61.63 which was good enough for second place in the SM class. Dsmythe2 cleaned house in his EVO winning my class and brad@mellontuning got first in his class :mitsu-smiley::mitsu-smiley::mitsu-smiley:
