Where's that run you had that shows 290 whp and 280 tq? I was there I saw it! I was very suprised to see Cobb's shelf maps put down #'s so close to a custom tune with 0 knock might I add. Don't forget Charles a little race gas and you can run that 93 or 100 map!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loscavio--

Just to clarify, not for your benefit, but for everyone else....I am by no means bashing Tuning Tech in Cali....I just wanted to state that my best bud....who so ridiculously sold his evo ix to a tard of a kid....had a custom tune and that the base stage 2 91oct map came pretty darn close in numbers on the same type of dyno.....also, the last time we busted out a drive in loscavio's red rs was last november so maybe I've forgotten how BAD-A that RS was......now loscavio cries for his first born

I thought that the car was checked and it was in tip-top condition. It seems to me that it has a major boost leak.
Stephen already addressed this...but just to add concreteness....the car stock had no boost leaks at all...and the car the whole day only registered 1 knock over about 20 pulls.

SInce driving the car over the last 2 days...maybe only 10-15 miles I have seen no knock either....the car does seem to be learning a bit better and pulling maybe a lil better than that 1st nite

He's running a test pipe and his exhaust is still more quiet than my JIC was with cat! Best sounding exhaust in my opinion, wish it was available when I had my RS, It's a full 3 inch with no taper!

No joke the exhaust sounds way better in person than on that Rally Sport Youtube video.

No tinny-ness....idle is deep groan...WOT sounds full and robust....fitment was near perfect...I think Stephen will post some minor changes he made to make it fit 100%.

Overall COBB, when the car started up every penny was worth it!!!!!!!!
In person it sounded NICE!!!

I hate going w/o internet at home

as everyone else said it is the Catless Test Pipe....just to hear it from me......I'm so glad I didn't get the HFC.....cause this is relatively moderate sound at idle and cruise.....it's pretty close to stock.

At WOT is where it shines

^ Cool, but I'd like to at least try to not contribute to worsening Southern California skies. Or get the no-cat ticket from a cop.

The catted exhaust retains a very nice sound. Still quiet at idle and cruising, yet growls very nicely in boost. Here is the data we collected of sound levels with difference configurations of our exhaust with and without stock exhaust components.

^ Trust me, I've read that portion of the website time and time again. But I wasn't really referring to the catless TBE being too loud, as I could tell it wasn't by your provided dB readings and the recently posted YouTube video, but more so to it being catless. Obviously I'm not driving a green machine, but I'd like to try to not be a gross polluter on four wheels.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the product, I think it's a great exhaust and I'm planning on saving up for the AP and the TBE with the high-flow cat, but personally I'd stay away from the catless one.

Yes Sir, I was trying to lightly add to your perception of a catted exhaust being a good choice. Good sound, no stink, and little to no power loss

^ Thanks for the clarification. I completely misunderstood your first post for some reason and thought of "catless" when you typed "catted." Any video clips of the catted TBE?

FMI----For MY Information

Can Stephen, ROB, or Christian please post up how to properly read out the Live Data Section Stuff.

I obviously know and understand how to read the RPM, MPH, Intake Temp, Coolant Temp.......but it sure would be nice to understand more about the Mass Airflow sensor, Long/Short term fuel trim etc.

I'd like to know basically what is the NORMAL parameters the car should read out and then what is PEAK and VALLEY of a car that is NOT DOING SO GOOD side.

Thanks guys for your help....this would just make it much more fun to be driving around while looking at the passenger seat for readouts and not at the road...while travelling at mach 120mph

Get the recaro seat cell phone holder and put in on the vent so you can see it more clearly

DeezNuuuts83- Due to the dB difference you would not be able to tell a difference from a video. Your only chance to tell is if you had both running side by side in person, and even then it will be near impossible to make out the 3dB difference. Power should be pretty close to the same as well. Maybe 1-3 hp loss, if that. For helping save the planet we can offer you free shipping on your AP as well as your Turbo Back exhaust (48 states)

CPA5- I'll have more info on this later on today. For Short and Long fuel trims, they should equal close to zero when added together. This is assuming Live Data fuel trims are similar to the Subaru.

TheEVolutioner- we have quite a few AP doing this same thing with their Subarus. Works great, looks pretty good too.
