Since the downpipe starts at the turbo (o2 really), combining a downpipe with a cat->back exhaust would give you a turbo->back exhaust. Cat back well, starts from the cat which is after the DP As for the cat, I've hear some people say the stock flows well, but you can purchase street legal high-flow cats to match your exhaust.

They don't all have to be from the same vendor, but many vendors make both the downpipe and exhaust.

Well I can certainly say that tuning.....is everything. The right tuner can help you get there easier and cheaper. By cheaper i mean the less money youll spend with the wrong people. You will need full bolt on's and fuel mods...not necessarily an FPred though. You can get over 360 on a stock turbo with a good tune and full bolt on's. See my sig...im around 375. The same car with the wrong tuner was 335. And i spent about 4-500$ paying the wrong people to do bad work.

Higher 11's. 11.7-12.0 I see alot of cars in the 380 range run like 12.1's. Im not a big track guy...if someone else could chime in.

+1 Yes every car is different as well as the "Driver." With that being said if you can shift good you can attain great numbers...

Have fun modding and be safe!

BHP = at the crank
WHP = at the wheels, what the dyno reads

Also I'd say for 400hp, (and this is just the route I"d go) you could do an AEM (or similar) gt30r or gt35r setup, exhaust and meth, then get a good tune.

I'm sure there are many different ways to hit 400hp, some getting more HP, others better spool, and so on and so forth.

*EDIT* I just realized there were 3 pages of posts, and I responded to the first page, lol oh well

I'm at 395whp 382tq and ran a 12.07 with a 1.64'. I've only made about 20-25 passes total in my car. With some better driving I could make it into the high 11's.

stay away from meth and all that other crap if your daily driving your car. Just say with pump or if u have some e85 stations around then thatw ould be good but there isnt a lot of ethonal stations around.

Get the bolt ons. TBE, Fuel pump, Boost controller, CAI, FMIC, lowering IC pipe, Headers, O2 housing, Injectors, Cams (might as well get the headstuds done while your in there), and i would go with a stock frame turbo (bbk from CBRD or an FP turbo).

I'm sure you will be more than happy with this setup and power. I would say all this including labor and parts prolly would run you around 5-7k. Get in touch with a reptuable tuner (check around the forums) and i say sit down with them and get it situated

Buy a car that already makes 400whp

just because motor takes extra abuse and it isn't the safest thing for your car. (can cause problems you don't want if you daily drive it)

Just extra stuff you gotta buy seperatly that you can't get at the pump, inconvience. Though it is extremely good power for the price but I just don't feel that safe using it if I didn't have a back up car or even if i do have one.
