Coils fully seated on spark plugs? Only guess I have is it wasn't fully sitting on it causing the spark to jump around causing the melting to potentially happen.

I'd also check to make sure that the spark plug itself was fully seated in the head.

yep they are, ive always changed the oil and spark plugs every 3000 miles.. ive had for a long time and this has never happened till now. Its already happened to me twice in a week with both different coils .. can it be a short circuit? i had to change the fuses twice cause of this.

A short def sounds possible. Especially if you keep blowing the fuses for the coils.

Anybody? I got my wire harness checked out and everything was fine, and so were my grounds.. I brought the car back from the shop, expecting to be fine from cleaning up all the wiring and grounds by the time I got home the car started to run like crap felt like my coils were out again. Now the shop is telling me its my tune, can that be the prob?? I've had the tune on the car since july I highly doubt that can be the prob
