Sorry to hear the bad news. This is why I'm worried about putting a boost controller in.

No, It's not that it's too soft for my setup but that its so soft in general. I haven't driving the car for almost two months and in that time I've been driving a bunch of friends cars. When I got in the car for the first time in 2 months it just felt softer than what I had thought, oh well. I don't think my setup is screaming at all and the clutch is just fine for what I've got.

I've got a question for you. Since you've got an evo and it comes with the turbo setup. What viscosity oil does mitsu recomend you to run in your evo? What is it that you run? In Nevada its cold during the winter and RRM told me that I should run 20W-50 with the turbo but b/c its cold here that thick stuff takes forever to get to the topend. I'm trying to get a feel for what the evo guys are running.

For winter I run 5W30 synthetic and hotter temps out here lend me to run 10W30 synthetic.

Maybe their reason for 20W50 is due to the kit not having an intercooler...hotter charge temps is helping heat up the oil pretty well. I would stick with what RRM asks you to run....but in the winter, maybe 10W40 isnt a bad substitute. Good luck!

perfect suggestion... run 10w40 for the colder climate. I had to do this myself since the winter's here had temps under 30. RRM's by the coast and temps usually never get that low.
