Supercharge

I was thinking of turboing my lancer, but someone suggested that I should supercharge it, now I Want to know some peoples opinions, and if they are for it, and think I should, where can I buy one for a 2002 OZ Rally Lancer

Plain and simple... Turbo kits have more of the aftermarket support than SC. Plus, they've been proven to last a while. As easy as buying a kit, or piecing together your own. But with SC, you'll either have to grab one of those Ripps Mod kits or custom make your own. Good luck tuning it with the SC too... 5th injector setups aren't the best, but they can work.

Search a little more about the SC kits, and you'll soon see the difficulty of them.

Turbos yield bigger gains as has been shown time and time again. If you're really interested in SC, look up RIPPS, they might still be able to put a kit together for you.

You said you wanted to be fast and SPECIAL. I just point out that at this point turbos on a Lancer arent that special/rare . . SC's however . . .>=)

SC's were moare common about two years back when RIPPmods made a kit for our car. I wanted to go with there kit simply because of the price and where a SC makes its power but they had issues. Customer service and otherwise. a couple guys had good luck with them but everyone else seemed to have a horrible time.

I think it was greenpsycho (account has been banned) had one of the best set-ups on the rippmods. He was an auto and made about 200whp with it. I dont think anybody really made more then that.. and he was built up pretty good.

There strong point was the blackbox..

^they don't make kits anymore for our car. Although im sure they could fab one together for a hefty price.
And also they have discontinued the black box. So your totally on your own as far as tunning goes
