yeah. theres quite a bit to a custom build. Do a lot of reading and learn all you can before you start the build. Get all your ducks in a row.. then start buying stuff.

 

buy a used rrm kit, >2000 for a good setup.

 

I put on a stock evo8 turbo on a 93 Mirage... total cost was roughly $1500. Non-intercooled tho. It wasn't too bad, if you're near an exhaust shop that will bend any kind of tubing.

 

ive been doin my reading since last week. if i could find that rrm kit for 2000.00 then ill rather buy that kit. and for bendind pipes thats not a big problem my brother inlaw can do that. but finding all the parts should be a lil bit dificult...

 

Will These T-25 Gs-t Turbo Do Good For The Lancer

 

If you want to hit max power get a 16g, no need for anything more.

 

thanks but i dont really wanna hit max power since its my daily driver..

 

t25 is fine, for 5-7 psi..

16g is not neccessary.

 

Ive found two sites where they have the complete turbo for a good price for the 02 lancer. Im wondering what yall think think about it.

How much boost is everyone safely putting down on stock internals...if you arent building the engine the smaller turbo would actually be better if the internals cant take it anyway.
