Cool... I hope you can understand me asking all these questions. It being a used kit and all. I'll give the resurfacing a go and get two of the gaskets like you suggest.

The main update as of now is that I'm going to be sending the turbo off to have it checked and possibly refurbished. I'm considering getting the up and down pipes jet coated and the IC pipes and intake pipes powder coated.

I just talked to a local shop and he just suggeted that I get a new one... which is an interesting idea but not going to happen. They also refered me to another shop.

So that leaves me at square one. I might just contact the guys that did your turbo. Did your turbo housing look rusted before you sent it off? Because mine is rusted as heck.

I'm going to email them and see what they have to say. I can wait three weeks... hell I've been waiting for three years. A few more weeks ain't going to kill me.

You won't be dissapointed with the outcome if you send it to them. When i got it back it was in a box within a box with a bunch of peanuts. I thought i received the holy grail or somethign. They were very honest and diligent in helping me make my decision.

pb blast for the win. What a pain... I now have the turbo seperated from the header and pipes. I found a local shop that will rebuild a trubo for starting at 350... and then there is g-popshop that you used... I'll be making my decision on who to send it to later this week. I'm a little low on funds as of now. Maybe it's time to find a second job.

Well im pleased with the work gpop did. and there basic rebuild starts at 250 which replaces bearings and seals... As far as your turbo which has minimal shaft play, as u stated, i would send it. But of course your turbo, and your discretion.

No I hear you... Gpop actually quoted me a price of 350 shipped. Which isn't all that bad. But when you put into the equation that I'm already **** poor right now with school comming up in a few weeks and having to buy the love of my life a bday gift which matches or exceeds the quality of the turbo she got me, 250-350 is a hella lot of cash.
