Turbo kit from Mitsubishi?

you know what its because of people like this guy that i dont share what i find out through head representatives from MMSA with anyone. He is probably just some punk *** ***** who thinks he knows everything. His mommy probably bought the lancer for him if he even has one. This is not my Opinion this is coming straight from The Mitsu sales rep for my district. So I will no longer voice any of my "opinions" I will just wait until next year and when the RA comes out and its N/A front wheel drive with a 2.4 So you STFU

The point that everyone should look at is, you cant throw a EVO X Turbo Kit onto a regular lancer as easy as one 2 three. I am willing to bet just getting the ECU's to not freakout will be one big step.
My bet is that you are going to need ECU flashes for both manual and CVT applications.
I am currently seeking out a total wreak Lancer CVT here in toronto thru my issurance company to get my hands on the CVT. The only way to find out if she can handle the power is to see the cuts of the transmission.

Second, Dont beleive anything Sales says to you, no matter how many stars on his shoulder. Sales generally is the last to know anything. Generally the lead tech in a dealership will know anything about what possibly would come out. Most manufaturers keep sales in the dark about most things dealing with products and pricesing. why do yo uthink its taken so long for official confirmation for anything having to do with the lancer this year.

Ohh im calm i am just stating things that I have heard from a person who works in the corporate offices that I have no reason to disbelieve. And then I voiced my opinion he wanted an opinion i gave it to him. 
No kidding, but it will bolt up, just have to run a little lower PSI and get an awsome tune so nothing breaks until we get lower CR pistons as right now thats gonna be the weakest link to running super high boost, I hope they didnt low ball the rods in this engine I hope they are forged like in the 4g64

Let me make a long story short My sales rep from mitsu corporate has never been wrong about any other vehichle that came out I have known him for many years now he has been involved with Mitsu Corporate since late 82 He knows the way they operate this is not gonna happen. I am not gonna risk loosing my job to give you guys proof, but if any of you know someone who knows how to properly navigate through Mitsubishi Dealer link. The RA dealer info is in there along with prices of all available and not yet available accesories. Turbo package is 100% out of the question from mitsu atleast.

lose your job posting on forums...well i went to my mitsu dealer to settle this once and for all. and THERE WAS A 08 WITH A TURBO! cvt, had an evo hood and that was it. dont know what it was but i asked about it said it was somethin from the factory... a demo car or somethin. said a performance shop was getting it. if i figer out how to get these pics off my fone ill post them.

YES!!!! I want to see this, I hope you are not B.S.ing around on this!!!! Try to find out more about that car, see if the dealer installed that or what, hurry up already, lol

ahh. stupid razr 2. cant send em to my email! i need to buy a new usb cable (rzr2 uses smaller usb port). im going to call the dealer in a lil bit to get some info on it. stupid me should of asked. i assumed it was a evo pre release of some sort. but it MIGHT have been a dealer install. will get back to ya ASAP

there was a thread about this for the RAs about 2 years ago and mistu never came through. your best bet is to get an aftermarket kit or the new RA or the evoX. mistu is not gonna make a warranty turbo kit for the gts. the way they see it if you want turbo buy an evo or RA.

will dive into the after market parts scene anytime soon...they're not in the best financial situation right now (and never have been in North America) but that's slowly improving. Companies like Toyota can offer up TRD parts for their Scions because they have the cash flow to do it. So maybe at some point in the future, will start...just don't hold your breath.
On top of that...there's the whole buying it via the dealership thing: I almost had to sell a kidney on the black market just to pay for a new seat cover...I couldn't imagine getting a turbo kit

My thoughts are this: we dont know much except what we've been told from magazines or seen from spy pictures, there is people who claim to know 'this or that' and I am not goin to say anybody is wrong... but what if they come out with a na 2.4 fwd called the RA and then they come out with an awd turbo "gsx" although to me that seems like alot of models from one platform (es,gts,sportback?,RA,gsx,evo), whos right or wrong anyways the decisions probably have already been made and only time will tell
