Turbo kit from Mitsubishi?
okay so, i emailed Mitsubishi motor corp/engineering in japan and this is what i got as an answer for this turbo kit.

(MMC) have duly received your e-mail via Mitsubishi Automotive Engineering on Oct. 22. Thank you for showing your interest in Mitsubishi Lancer 2008.
In this connection, however, we are unable to release any information about model change(including minor change) of vehicles unless the information is opened to the public usually one month prior to the launching, which please take as our company’s policy.
Such being the case, as the timing of model change is different between each country, please try to contact our authorized distributor in your country for more details and their possible help.

hello, there have been many rumors around about a Turbo kit for the 2008 lancer GTS. It was said to be released by mitsubishi and covered under full warrenty. IF this is true any idea if its available for CVT and 5 speed? or how much it will cost part/labor?

Im thinking it may be a go on this turbo kit, but its always questionable till the day its officially announced.

But until it is officially announced it's all just smoke and rumors really. From a rational standpoint, given what Mitsu is doing with their vehicle lines and saying int he press, as well as from a business perspective, it makes sense... but who knows. I tend to believe a good chunk of what I hear.
There's nothing really solid on it yet, but it looks like the Ralliart is shaping up to be a WRX killer (with the X being the STI killer).
