yesterday I was at my dealer for an oil change and I asked a few guys and none of em have heard anything. my dealership is a bunch of idiots though.

but yeah 120hp would would be friggen fantastic, not to mention the mods that could be possible on it. we could all see 300hp easy if we could get an ecu reflash, intake and a nice turbo back exhaust. I was never going to guess that their turbo kit would add such power especially if the evo is only at 300 and there is a ralliart coming out. I was also thinking if both the ralliart and evo are dual exhaust though then how is the lancers wimpy exhaust going to do with a turbo.

I will have to ask my dealer when I go there for my 1st oil change, they are pretty knowledgable(for a dealer) when in comes to stuff like that, although they also do their own upgrades with that keeps the warranty as well......

not to rain on people here, but i think its a false rumour, reasons being MITSU will not do it because it would conflict with their marketing push for their EVO,

B) the risk of failures to a car that already has an above average warranty, I am willing to bet that they would reduce your warranty if they did to it.

C) the risk of some dumb *** tweaking it and blowing up their engine is too high.

D) there is alot of work to be done on this car to get it ready for a turbo setup, 5500 aint gonna do it. Plus this is MITSU HQ here you think they are going to charge you pennies on the dollar, your looking at spending 75 to 80% of what an evo is going to cost.

highly unlikely they were going to do it or they would have designed their cars to be more Turbo ready. FRIG , the DOWN ONE PEICE PIPE of the car is pissing me off already,

haha if they had some kinda AUTO CVT DIESEL that would be just sick. your looking at 30% more torque off the bat if they optimize it right

exactly.

A factory add-on turbo kit for NA 08+ Lancers will never happen. Besides, with the Ralliart coming out next year, why would Mitsu put themselves in the position for all the potential problems that come with boosting a NA car?

IMO because they can. Mitsubishi is in no position to have problems in this market.
