so the car is running...not boosting now though because i still need the ECU's hooked up...having problems with the wiring diagrams,, they dont match what RRM gave me. Waiting on a reply from them,

The downpipe is on. No cat's. I had to get the downpipe cut and welded again to fit cause it was too long. Long day...that's all ive got to say. But so far, the good thing is i have no oil leaks!! *knock on wood* haha

 

So you have not actually driven it yet i know you are excited to ! let us know how it feels when everything is complete. I can say offically I am an owner of a turbo kit my girlfriend picked mine up today from UPS just have to buy a few parts here and there and ill be set to install soon hopefully! ive driven the car...but ive been shifting at 2000rpm the whole way....it's annoying and plus all the paint and seals and stuff are really starting to smell...they gota wear in first.

Questions:

can i "T" into the piggy back vac line for a boost gauge?

 

i T mined into the same line as the piggy, bov and boost gauge. boost gauges only read vacuum pressure without pressure means no reading.

Also, does anyone have a pic of their piggy back hooked up by any chance? Im having issues with mine not matching the diagram with the instructions....preferably an '06 or '05 lancer 5spd?

And also maybe a pic of the voltage regulator thing that gets wired up to the wires on the intake manifold? That would be nice too, since the instructions are all black on mine haha

It's 10pm here and i need this done now!!! ANyone can help me and tell me how u have ur voltage clamp wired up!? i cant fiugure out where the blue/white wire hooks up to on my voltage clamp thing...and i dont have green wires like on instruction sheet, but i think that may only apply to auto's...

does the blue wire on the voltage clamp (VG) go to the output on the MAP which is the last wire closest to the front of the car?

Then the Red wire on the VG go to the +5V which is the first wire closests to the firewall, on the MAP?

Then the tricky part. Does the black wire on the VG go to the black ground which is the middle wire of the 3 wires on the MAP? Or do i cut this wire from the car harness and connect the blue/white wire on the VG to the car harness then connect the black wire on the VG to that blue white wire?

I need help so bad!!

well because it was late last night when i finished, i didnt push it past 3000 rpm. But it does feel fairly quick now. I didnt mash on the gas either, i want to make sure 100% that the 5th injector is working first and plus it was raining to i just get crazy wheel hop.

Ill be updating soon the before and after vid though!! It sounds really nice though!

Well I have my turbo kit now offically I might start a new topic I know there will b plenty of qs to ask for my install. im just waiting on my intercooler. and ill be good to go i am a lilttle pissed because the turbo kit did not include the black box like it said it would so im hoping that they send it to me if not any other solutions?

 

i'll be back from school on friday i want a ride in that thing! is it quicker than my car now?

 

email them and find out where the black box is. if they aren't sending it., then you will have to use something else for tunning, ECUflash or a piggyback
