i think the intercooler kit that rrm sells is too pricey.. im too poor to afford it!! lol
can you guys give me any suggestions on alternative intercoolers?? preferably something that wont require any cutting on my bumper or crash bar..
i found a TSI intercooler but it was 600.. but they said that its a direct fit and wont require any modifications..

and does anyone know the size of the intercooler that rrm sells??

Did you call RRM? They may have one that will fit without modifications to your bumper and crash bar. I know they advertise the EVO intercooler, but they may have others in stock that they don't list on their website.

 

well they have the smaller sized one that fits without modication to the bumper or crashbar...

yeah but what if he wanted to go back to N/A later in the future and also sell the car as stock.


lol without that crash bar i wouldn't have been saved when it was raining real hard and my girl turned the defrost off and i rolled straight in neutral into a wall. That bar saved my radiator and my fans. I went turbo and kept the bar. Didn't have to do any modifications.

 

what intercooler do you have??
its just that i've been trying to ask everyone about the maximum size that i can fit without cutting the crash bar but no one really knows.. i mean i can find something cheaper if i knew the size...

 

IIRC I think its 4 inches...depending on set up.

i kinda like that black intercooler.. and thats pretty cheap too!! wouldnt black create heat though??
