we just put a turbo on my friends spec v. toook alllll weeek and he still needs to get it tuned.

Good morning! (oil pan has not been touched yet) Its time to start the official install. Its 8:16 am here and after i smoke my cigarette and take a poop i will head over to my Brother in laws house to get started. will post pics as i go so stay tuned.( no pics of poop)lol

UPDATE:

11:39 PM Saturday morning...radiator is off, manifold is off, bolt from hell defeated in 20 minutes (helps to have helpers), here are some pics.

it's the stock gasket. i am reusing the stock mani gasket.

Yeah a catch can. Looks cool. Install looks like it's starting nice. Should be fun once you start putting things into the engine bay.

yeah its a flask that i made into a oil catch tank.

ok. so my bud tapped the oil pan using the same technical fitting thing that shortbus dudes dad did, we had to cut the fitting on the inside of the pan. it stuck out to far and hit the crank or the things thats in the engine that makes it go up and down,lol... anyway we are putting the oil lines on the turbo and ready to install.pics up soon. fuel pump is in and other friend is outting in the gauges. had to grind the turbo even more to clear that coolant pipe. we also put a dent in it.

had to make a spacer for between the turbo and manifold so that it would clear the coolant pipe. my friend Kevin made it in about 2 hours.
