why when doing the timing in the manual does it tell u to turn the gear counter clockwise twice???? is it a mistype and do u move it the first time so that the valves dont hit the pistons, still dont know if im right considering it could be on either the exhaust or intake stroke or am i wrong

Well that was just in 3rd with a tiny bit of throttle to about 9 psi, I just let the boost build slow and release it before my car actually wants to get on it, that's not WOT if u get what I'm trying to say....I still have to get tuned although I'm having no knock and my afrs don't lean out

Thats good! i was goin to say i cant hear my turbo as loud as that! but im only pushin 5 PSI, you can hear it spool up with the windows closed but its not as loud as that!

can u hear it spool with the windows down or does the wind block it abit, my windows were down....

so it may not look appealing but i had to cover my header bc of my vent

does anyone have that harder 2nd spring for the greddy rs.....i lost mine and with the higher psi i kinda need it eeeek

Mine sounds the exact same when it spools, so that makes me feel good, because I was concerned at first since it didn't sound like clips I've heard on youtube of other cars. Still, mines slightly quieter, not as loud cause I go to 8psi.

Could have to do with the way your car shifts mistu since hornstar and zulus are both manual
