Well this was bound to happen running as aggressive as I have been on the course lol. Luckily I only melted the throttle cable so it stuck wide open but the day was over when it decided to stick. Had to have my wife bring the truck up 2 hours to the track to tow her home. Got home after midnight last night. She will be up and ready for next weekends race though I promise.
You can use a mirage one just so you know. I ended up taking one from a Mirage when it happened to me. Works fine. I re-routed it as well. Luckily, for me while I was on the highway the heat kept the cable from sticking so I was able to get to my destination without any issue. Leaving the parking lot was a different issue.

Found a salvage yard with several lancers and I brought my bad cable to compare with other models incase none of the lancers have the cable. Dealership is actually reasonable at $40 but said wont get here until friday. Too close for me if I can help it since I am racing sunday. If it happens to be late it wont come in till monday and I'll have to bow out of the race.
03 if you're heading to the junk yard could you please please please snag the light ring that's on our hvac for me? The small light in mine some how overheated and cracked mine. Now light won't flow through entirely. I'll of course pay for it and shipping.

So I have another event tomorrow but I figured I would share my thoughts on the PG now that it has been in the car for a few weeks now.
Straight line acceleration is a night and day difference. Full posi lock up on hard acceleration and she just grips pulls your *** no problem. Torque steer is a thing of the past for me now it feels so stable on highway pulls I love it.
Cornering is not quite as night and day. Grip has been dramatically improved on cornering although it still likes to spin but I can lift off the throttle slightly as I am coming out of the corner and hammer down again and it just grips and goes.
Do I think a traditional LSD would do better? In cornering it may grip better than this unit but how much is TBD. In straight line acceleration absolutely not, the PG will perform as well as any traditional LSD.
No adverse effects as of yet and considering how hard I have been pushing it (melted throttle cable ring a bell? lol) I would assume I would have felt or heard something while out on course but nope nothing. Feels just like stock its not harder to turn, no noise while turning just stock feeling.
Very happy with this unit I am very glad I took the plunge

Nice couple cracks in my manifold I found during the last tech inspection
. Hopefully they dont get worse any time soon. Dropped the front end a little more, trying to lower the amount of understeer I get on those tight corners on the course.

Its speedcorps style but one of the 20 or so that zulu had made and sold. I cant complain really almost 4 years before it cracked and I am almost certain it happened the same time my throttle cable melted. It no likely 8 back to back hot laps lol. My grandfather is a great welder I may see if he can throw a weld on there for me.
