Yet another thread about Turboing a 03 lancer.
your sig says RRM stage 2 clutch....is that the one that broke? it's really an exedy, not RRM brand? I guess they do resell somethings under their own brand, so that's okay, I just sort of expected more from the stage 2 if that's the case.

Its done and back on the road woohoo!!!!! That new clutch is extremely touchy though lol. Now I just have to refrain from pushing it too hard during the break in period.

Well I am about 350 miles into the break in on the clutch. Had my first taste of some real boost last night giving a buddy a ride to another friends. Had a dude next to me when I took off didnt even realize he was trying to keep up until I let off and seen him in the distance coming up quick lol. Still probably gonna take it "semi" easy until I hit that 500 mile mark
I kidnaped him that weekend to do the motor swap on my car. I cant answer how hard the clutch is but i know we are replacing mine when we do it. I think the key he has said is a tranny jack of sorts.

Nope the clutch is pretty easy in our cars. I had the tranny out by myself in under two hours. Took probably 3 to reinstall due to me checking out everything else making sure nothing else was damaged from that clutch disc breaking, and yes Ryancb is correct I do have a trans jack which makes life 1000000x easier when doing a tranny removal. Before I had the jack I would use my engine hoist and wrap straps around a fwd tranny which worked pretty good too. If you have neither I would recommend probably 2 guys lifting the trans from the bottom and a 3rd up top lining it up.
